Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs Intelli404 (“you”), and InterLinks Development (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Intelli404 you agree to them. If you install the app for a business, you confirm you can agree on its behalf.

1. The service

Intelli404 is a Shopify app that detects visits to missing pages in your online store, sends shoppers to the closest matching product, collection, page or post, and shows you reports and a log of those visits. It also lets you create permanent redirects in Shopify. We may improve, change or remove features over time.

2. Shopify

You need an active Shopify store to use Intelli404. Your use of Shopify is governed by Shopify’s own terms, and Shopify’s App Store terms also apply to the app. If Shopify’s platform changes or is unavailable, parts of Intelli404 may not work.

3. Fees

Intelli404 is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll tell you in advance, prices will be shown in the app, and any charges will go through Shopify’s billing, which you approve before you’re charged. Nothing will be charged without your approval.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Keep your store’s content, products and settings lawful and accurate.
  • Review the redirects you create. A redirect you create in Shopify stays in place until you remove it.
  • Tell your shoppers about the information collected on your store, as your privacy notice and the law require. Our Privacy Policy describes what the app collects.
  • Don’t misuse the app: no attempts to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around its security, and no use that breaks the law or Shopify’s terms.

5. Automatic matches

Intelli404 picks matches automatically from your store’s content. It aims for the closest page and skips links it isn’t sure about, but it can still pick a page you wouldn’t have chosen. You can review every match in the app and change how unmatched visits are handled at any time. We don’t promise any particular number of recovered visits, sales or search ranking.

6. Your data

Your store data stays yours. You let us use it only to provide, secure and improve Intelli404, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your 404 log and reports in Settings, and we delete your store’s data after you uninstall the app.

7. Our property

We own Intelli404, including its software, design, name and the Scout character. While these terms are in effect, we give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for your store. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep Intelli404 running and fix problems quickly, but we don’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. For help, email support@intelli404.com.

9. Ending these terms

You can stop using Intelli404 at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the app, and we’ll give you reasonable notice when we can. Redirects you created in Shopify stay in your store after you uninstall.

10. Disclaimer

Intelli404 is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales or data. Our total liability for any claim about Intelli404 is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and compensate us for claims by third parties that arise from your store, your content or your breach of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Intelli404 after that means you accept the new terms.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the state and federal courts located in Oregon, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
